Day 1

Amazing Arenal

After we pick you up from your hotel in San Jose area, we will start our trip across the central volcanic mountain range heading to La Fortuna town, on the way we will stop to a nationwide famous artisan town known as Sarchí, home of the largest painted oxcart in the world. As we continue our trip, we will drive through several ornamental plantations, agriculture products and cattle ranches.

Once we get to La Fortuna area, you will have time to explore town and have lunch on your own in a local restaurant, if weather permitted we will be able to see the magnificent Arenal volcano, pretty  much from everywhere.

After lunch we’ll take you to your hotel for check in and spent the rest of the afternoon soaking in the rejuvenating thermal pools and bath at the hotel grounds, this place consists of a number of therapeutic pools of varying temperature. Dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 2

Adventurous Canopy tour

A good cup of coffee and a complete breakfast will give us enough energy to start a day full of adventure, canopy tour is one of the highlights in Arenal, the location has a great lake view, we first get our proper gear and then a tram ride will take us to the highest point; 8 lines through the tropical rain forest will take your breath away, distances go between 30 to 760 meters at a height of 20 to 760 meters above the ground, in some of the lines you are going to be above the treetops, which give you a great opportunity to see the volcano and the lake. Later we take you to town for lunch and then we get ready to explore old lava flows inside Arenal volcano national park. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy the hotel grounds.

Day 3

Adventure morning

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, morning at leisure and transfer to San Jose after check out from the hotel.

What to bring: Swimming suite/ swimming trunks, changing cloths, comfortable shoes, sunscreen lotion and bottle of water.
