Day 1

Amazing Tortuguero

We pick you up from your hotel in San José area and start our journey driving through the majestic Braulio Carrillo National park. We’ll stop in Guápiles to taste our typical Costa Rican breakfast, then we continue toward the lowlands passing through a number of banana plantations, in order to get the best out of your experience our knowledgeable guide will explain the bananas packing process. Our comfortable boats will take you river down all the way to our lodge; lunch will be ready as we welcome you, later in the afternoon, you will visit the picturesque town of Tortuguero.  Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 2

Adventurous boat ride

During our boat tour you will be immerse in one of the most paradisiac national parks in Costa Rica, Tortuguero canals are known as the central American Amazon, a boat ride will give you the opportunity to encounter different species of flora and fauna such as cayman, river turtles, monkeys and water birds. You can opt to take a guided nature walk in our private trails or just relax at the hotel grounds and swimming pool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel.

To enhance your experience in the Land of Turtles a Turtle walk night tour will be available from July to October as an optional activity.

Day 3

Morning adventure

After breakfast at the lodge we’ll start our way back to San José, we will have lunch on the way and arrive late in the afternoon at the capital.
